As we look ahead to 2026, I want to begin by thanking you for your continued trust and partnership. Your feedback and engagement allow SuccessionHR to keep evolving and delivering meaningful impact.

2025 was a pivotal year for us. We focused on making succession planning more collaborative, measurable, and embedded into everyday leadership practices. The continued expansion of the Key Role Owner (KRO) model shifted ownership to leaders closest to the work, while the Key Role Owner Leaderboard reinforced accountability and engagement.

We also introduced Candidate Communication, enabling Key Role Owners to engage directly with candidates within SuccessionHR to better understand interest, mobility, and development progress. Alongside this, Candidate Readiness Conversion Insights provided clearer visibility into how candidates move through readiness stages, where progress slows, and where opportunities exist. Our expanded Targets Dashboard, including Internal Placement Rate and Internal Success Rate, now helps organizations better measure the real impact of their succession efforts.

Looking ahead, 2026 will be centered on AI Insights at SuccessionHR. These capabilities are designed to significantly reduce the manual effort involved in succession planning by helping identify Key Roles, surface potential successors, recommend development tasks, and track skill attainment based on real development activity. This will enable broader and deeper succession planning with minimal additional effort. We recognize that trust and security are critical, and all AI features will be built to uphold the highest standards of data security and privacy. Customer data will never be shared publicly, never used outside your organization, and AI Insights will always be optional - designed to assist decision-making, not replace it.

In addition, we plan to introduce enhanced candidate pathways, providing more robust development journeys aligned to readiness goals. We are also expanding mentorship functionality to strengthen candidate development and launching advanced forecast reporting to deliver deeper visibility into future readiness, coverage risks, and succession outcomes.
